The Miner character is a character that I originally created as a Final Project artefact during my time studying for my BSc in Computer Animation at University.
Originally the purpose of the project was to study the pipeline of a professional Game or Animation studio and figure out how I could suitably create a character that would fit comfortably within that pipeline.
The Miner character was the outcome of that assignment, and it’s when I learnt lots of relevant skills including how to export/import maps, layout UVs, create new topology , basic rigging and create better renders. I revisited the character recently in order to switch my materials and rerender it out on the Pixar Renderman renderer.
